Saturday 30th of May 2026: we are inviting you to join us for a MEGA SALSA & BACHATA PARTY featuring Ami Emirato Birthday & coinciding with the 64th birthday of global Bachata music. Honoring & recognizing the historic date that marks the first Bachata recorded in human history by José Manuel Calderón (Borracho de amor" and "Condena) on 30th of May 1962 that gave the birth of what later was called Bachata. Since then, 30th of May was widely celebrated as the birth of Bachata for many years and celebrated in Edinburgh as well as by many dancers, musicians, DJs, and communities around the world.

Please not that this is NOT just a Bachata celebration it's a 50:50 Salsa & Bachata celebration with our Salsa family as one big integrated and undivided family ❤️

📍LOCATION: The stunning (𝗧𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗢𝗧 𝗗𝗘𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗛𝗔𝗟𝗟) 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 as part of Teviot Row House (opened in 1889 as Scotland’s first purpose-built student union) with new look that you all gonna love 🎀❤️

We are also planning amazing dance workshops with 16 guest teachers, Dance Competitions, Team Performances, big cake and a MEGA Salsa & Bachata Party (50:50 Salsa & Bachata).
