Get ready for a fun, laid-back afternoon with awesome people from different communities around Amsterdam! This community is participating in the monthly XXL picnic in Noorderpark!

Every community adds something to the event, so we are organising City Walk before the picnic. Join us from Amsterdam Central Station to walk to Noorderpark. It’s a great way to explore the city, take some pictures and warm up for the social vibes ahead. Before heading to the park, we go to a supermarket to grab some drinks and food for the picnic.

What to expect at the picnic:

• Bring your own drinks & snacks
• Jam session for musicians bring your instrument!
• Play fun games (You can bring your cards, sport equipment etc) or just relax in the grass
• A Philosophy corner. Deep topics only!
• Language exchange. Time to practice your Dutch or any other language!
• Most importantly, meet new people and connect across communities

• This meetup will get crowded (100+ people)! If you would like a smaller group, come early, before the majority arrives (usually little later). After the meetup, people go for dinner or party.

Hike & Pictures is inviting you to join us for an unforgettable evening of creativity and beautiful pictures organized by The Photographers Club. Different photography communities are joining, so this rsvp is not a realistic number.

🕖 Time: 19:00 – 23:00
📍 Meeting Point: The Pier, Scheveningen, The Hague. you can travel with us from Amsterdam Central station as well! Make sure to join our Hike & Pictures WhatsApp group for live communication.

We’re aiming to bring together as many photographers and creatives as possible for a unique experience, a photowalk that could become one of the biggest in the Netherlands! While we can’t guarantee numbers, we can promise good vibes, new connections, and plenty of amazing shots.

Join us for a peaceful and scenic hike through the beautiful Ankeveense Plassen: a nature-rich route with water views, open skies, and dutch villages. Dogs are allowed.

📍 Meeting Point:

• Option 1: Meet us at Bussum Zuid Station at 10:15 AM
• Option 2: Travel together from Amsterdam Central Station, 9:41 AM train from platform 10b

🗺️ The Route:
We’ll hike from Bussum Zuid to Weesp, passing through the stunning landscapes of the Ankeveense Plassen. The route is flexible:

• Hike 10 km, then take the bus to Weesp station
• Or challenge yourself with the full 20 km all the way to Weesp on foot

Make sure to bring food and drinks, because I'm not sure if there will be restaurants/supermarkets. Majority of the hike is in nature.

Reminder: Hike means long walk. The walk is going to take long, but we will have enough breaks to take pictures and eat.

• What to bring:
• Water and snacks
• A camera (or phone camera) if you’d like to take photos
• Comfortable walking shoes, preferably boots because the paths can be muddy and through grass/sand.
• Sun protection
• A good mood! 😊

Other info:

• this event depends on the weather. If the weather isn't good enough , we have to cancel it. The ground gets muddy with rain.
