Improv Drop-in Workshop

🎭 Dear fellow improv theater & comedy lovers! 🎭

This week we want to play with callbacks. Callbacks is a tool in improv that can add depth, complexity, and humor to a scene. It is a reference to a previous event, joke, or detail that has already occurred in the scene. By using callbacks effectively, improvisers can create a sense of continuity and cohesion, making the scene feel more engaging and polished.

This session is suitable for all levels! Whether you're just starting your improv journey or have a wealth of experience, our Sunday improv workshops are the perfect place to hone your skills and create magic together. 🎉

We'll start by working on rich initiations so that, when it is time to introduce the callbacks, there is material to work with. From there we will expand from callbacks within the scene, to callbacks to previous scenes and perhaps even to an overarching theme.
