Hey Kotlin fans!

We finally have another Kotlin event! We will have two sessions, one about Java interoperability and one about Kotlin at Fastned. This time we are hosted by Backbase.

Teaching Kotlin to behave well with Java
Kotlin is a budding popular language and it’s adoption rate is faster in the recent days especially when it was made as an official language for Android app development. Does than mean Java will die or be replaced? Not really! One of the bigger advantages of Kotlin is it’s interoperable capacity with Java. Many Java developers are exploring Kotlin in their own pace and it would make their job difficult if Kotlin doesn’t work well with Java. This will explain how can you write Kotlin to make it better interoperable with Java - in terms of readability and understanding for Java developers to use Kotlin classes and objects.
