ArtZuid-Amsterdam Sculpture Biennale-city walk

Details
Once every two years the Minervalaan and Apollolaan get transformed into an outdoor gallery for statues. Around 70 artists participate in the 9th edition of this sculpture festival. The exhibition focuses on Amsterdam 750 years and celebrates the city's characteristic freedom and tolerance. Figurative sculptures, together with abstract installations, form a surreal urban landscape. We will meet the ARTZUID Information Pavilion, Minervalaan 1 and take the Apollolaan axis, but if you are fit and enthousiastic enough I suggest you also walk through the Minveralaan, which ends at the Amsterdam Zuid train station. You can also download an audio app [English available] at https://artzuid.nl/app/, the cost is around 10 euros. At the pavillion you can look at info of the sculptures, but we can also get coffee tea or ice cream if we want.
In case of bad weather, this event will be postponed.
