How does the clothing exchange work?

--> € 7.50 (regular) & € 5.00 (U-pass + <18 years)

• Bring between min. 4 and max. 10 pieces of clothing. This way we can ensure that everyone goes home with enough pieces.

• Only bring clothes that are clean and tidy and that you also like. Clothing that you think others will be happy with.

• By clothing we mean: Pants, T-shirts, cardigans, sweaters, jackets, blouses (so no: shoes, socks, underpants, socks, bikinis, bras

• The clothing exchange starts at 13:30

• Clothing will be replenished throughout the afternoon (13:30-16:00), so that you can also score a nice outfit at a later time.

• We will continue until around 4:30 pm. Then we'll collect the remaining clothing and a lot is donated or taken to the next event, so that this clothing also gets a nice destination

International Comedy Showcase with Adrián Minkowicz
Mad Cow Comedy usually hosts a regular Sunday afternoon show, but this time we have a one-off Saturday night show consisting of by various international acts, all performing in English.
Utrecht-based comedian, Rachel Morton-Young, is your host and the show will be headlined by Adrián Minkowicz, a multitalented comedian from Argentina based in New York and Oslo.

Nigel Williams:
Although he was born and bred in Bristol, UK, Nigel is one of the ‘founding fathers’ of the new wave of Belgian stand-up comedy.
Nigel’s comedy is social commentary with a ‘funny sauce’, ‘rough and ready’ and not always for the faint-hearted. For the last few years Nigel has toured all over Europe doing comedy in his mother tongue and founded (the now legendary) ‘Stand-Up Antwerp’ comedy club, bringing in top English language comedians from all over the world.
Nigel’s act is sometimes political, sometimes observational, but always engaged, furious and most of all f***-ing funny.
In 2022, Nigel headlined the Sziget Festival Comedy Stage.

Adrián Minkowicz
Adrián is a stand-up comedian known in the international circuit performing regularly in international festivals, theaters and comedy clubs around the world. His solo shows have been shown in the most prestigious comedy festivals of the world like the Edinburgh Fringe, the Just for Laughs or the New York Comedy Festival, to name a few. He was also a writer and performer on the political satire show “Satiriks” on NRK1 in Norway.

The show takes place in the Eventspace at de Utrechter City Brasserie and Bar, a warm and welcoming venue with a great vibe (only a few minutes’ walk from Utrecht Central Station).

Nothing to do on Sunday, Dec 3rd, two days before all Dutch people celebrate Sinterklaas? Come join us! Bring a small wrapped gift (around €15 - €20), and we will do a fun gift exchange with a game. We do this every year and it is such a blast!
