Open Monuments Day -walk or biking tour

Details
Lets explore some monuments, some old and some new, that are generally not open to the public. The theme of this year's Monument Day is Heritage and architecture, organised by the city of Amsterdam and free of charge. At all the venues there will be activities and lectures, in Dutch and occasionally also in English.
We will meet at 13.30 at "The Plantation Palace" on the Nieuwe Herengracht 99. This is a 17th century house of the wealthy merchant Jacob de Granada and is generally closed to the public. We can then take a look at the prestigious brand new new library of the University of Amsterdam, Vendelstraat 2 and from there on to the former City Hall [now a hotel], as well as the Oude Kerk [Oudekerksplein 23] to finish in the Orientalist Fong Shan He Hua Tempel -Zeedijk 106. If you want, we can have lunch in a restaurant in the neighborhood of the Zeedijk.
This route is walkable, but feel free to cycle if preferred.
