Indoor Rock Climbing (Urban Climb Blackburn ) - First-time to Advanced
**Urban Climb Blackburn**
Never climbed before? No worries at all! You're very welcome here! Just complete a quick safety induction when you arrive and the staff will walk you through everything you need to know to climb safely indoors. It's easy, friendly, and won't take long.
The venue has plenty to enjoy, including a bouldering cave, speed wall, sauna facilities, and sparkling water to keep you going.
This group is primarily focused on rope climbing, top roping and lead climbing, but if you'd prefer to stick to bouldering while you find your feet, that's absolutely fine too! Many of our members have their lead pass and gear, but there's no pressure at all.
**Finding us:** If you arrive on time, look for us gathered around the couches in the bouldering area. We're a friendly bunch, so just come and say hi! Running a little late? No stress, just let the staff up the front know you're with the Climb Meetup group and they'll make an announcement. Someone will come and find you and introduce you around. A few of our regulars also wear a black shirt with the old logo, so keep an eye out for those.
**A note on numbers:** The meetup runs every Monday and many regular members come along independently without RSVPing through the group, so the crowd is often bigger than it looks on the attendee list! If you're ever unsure whether people will be there or worried it might be a tiny group, feel free to drop the organisers a message beforehand and we'll put your mind at ease.
**Fees:** Entry is paid directly to Urban Climb. You can find current pricing at [urbanclimb.com.au/pricing](https://urbanclimb.com.au/pricing/). If you hold a climbing membership elsewhere, it's worth checking your member benefits as you may be eligible for a discount. For venue info and the first-time waiver, visit [urbanclimb.com.au/locations/blackburn](https://urbanclimb.com.au/locations/blackburn/).
**Stay connected:** We also have a facebook group [https://www.facebook.com/groups/663576119053808](https://www.facebook.com/groups/663576119053808) with a chat function; a great way to connect with members before or after a session!

**Struggling with study or learning? Youโre not alone.**
This meetup suits people at all levels of study skill.

Youโll discover simple, effective methods to improve understanding, confidence, and performanceโwhether at school, work, or online. Teachers and parents often see rapid improvements in both behaviour and results.
Yes, it *is* possible to improve study performanceโin just **five easy steps**.
If you canโt attend in person, online options are available.
**Join us and learn how to study effectivelyโonce and for all.**
See you at the meetup,

Our Sunday Walk this week takes us back to the beautiful Heide Sculpture Gardens and Park on the banks of the Yarra River.

Note the slightly later Start Time: **9.15 AM**

**The Walk**: We'll walk the gardens and parkland of the adjacent Banksia Park before heading back to the Kitchen Cafe for brunch. It's a slightly shorter walk than our usual (about 4 Km) but includes some hilly sections.
**Toilets**: Throughout the Park and at the Kitchen area.

WIP Society Founding MEL Cohort
Every month, WIP Society gathers a small group of Melbourne business owners around a single question.
Not a trivia question. Not a debate prompt. A question worth actually sitting with โ the kind that reveals something about how you think, not just what you know. This month's question will be shared with you one week before we meet, so you arrive having genuinely lived with it rather than reached for the first answer that came to mind.
The format is simple. Eight people. A comfortable venue. A couple of hours over drinks. No agenda beyond the question and wherever it honestly leads. No hierarchy โ what your business does or how big it is stays at the door. No performance of certainty โ not knowing something here is a contribution, not a liability.
WIP Society takes its name from Work in Progress. Every member considers themselves one. That shared orientation โ and the shared experience of running a business โ is what makes the conversation different.
**This event is free. You cover your own food and drinks.**
This is WIP Society's founding Melbourne cohort. The people in this first room will shape what it becomes.
Places are strictly limited to eight. Location shared with confirmed members closer to the date. Membership is by application โ please apply before registering: ๐ https://forms.clickup.com/9016427028/f/8cpqggm-13616/1X3X9UGMIEIBA9089H

In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation donโt just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance".
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation of Central Ohio and Church of Scientology of Central Ohio.

Powell Gold Star Referral Club Meetup
We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot. Bring plenty of cards!
