Storytelling is an essential art in leadership, entrepreneurship and social business. This open learning group – connected online via Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/Impact-Storytelling-Amsterdam/) - has been created to inspire its participants in great storytelling as well as develop the practice for the professional and entrepreneurial community.

Each month we will host a speaker, either from Words That Change, THNK or a guest, who will offer a new perspectives on storytelling or a particular application of it. We will then apply these principles in the development of our own story and practice it with supportive feedback. We will use social dynamics techniques to encourage openness and creativity and you will have plenty of contact with inspired minds in order to develop your story. Simon Hodges (Words That Change) and Robert Wolfe (THNK) will be facilitators, providing formats in collaboration with guests.

This is for people who need to:

Speak regularly to groups or 1 to 1

• Produce content for their website or someone else’s

• Need to clarify their ideas in order to communicate them more clearly or

• Create a core story that can guide their career or business development.

It will develop the following key skills:

• Speaking

• Inspiring audiences

More than anything, this group has been created to develop the discipline of transformational storytelling – creating a community of individuals committed to making impact in their chosen communities, whether business, social or environmental, for-profit or not.

You could chose to attend as a one-off, in order to develop and practice your story, or enter on to a longer learning journey that allows you to become an adept storyteller in a variety of fields. For those who want to go further on the journey, we provide a series of day-long workshops and courses.

Who we are?
Your facilitators are expert trainers and expert practitioners in story. We've worked with corporate leadership and world-changing entrepreneurs. We love working with people who want to change the world through business. Simon Hodges has given his workshops to around 500 participants over the last years and is a coach at TEDxAmsterdam. Robert Wolfe is a writer and story coach at the THNK school of creative leadership. This collaboration demonstrates their strengths in enabling professionals to deliver inspiration in their work.
