Queer Book Club: Tales of the City

Details
Come discuss books and make new friends 🌈✨
Let's meet at Julianapark again. If the weather is bad we will reschedule to another Thursday.
After a break in July, I'm hoping that for August, Tales of the City (book one in the series) by Armistead Maupin will be a more cheerful read than our last few. No promises though 😅
"San Francisco, 1976. A naïve young secretary, fresh out of Cleveland, tumbles headlong into a brave new world of laundromat Lotharios, pot-growing landladies, cut throat debutantes, and Jockey Shorts dance contests. The saga that ensues is manic, romantic, tawdry, touching, and outrageous—unmistakably the handiwork of Armistead Maupin.
Originally serialised in the San Francisco Chronicle in the 1970s, Tales of the City afforded a mainstream audience of millions its first exposure to straight and gay characters experiencing on equal terms the follies of urban life."
Everyone is welcome who has read the book (or DNF, and is okay with spoilers) by the time of the meetup. The book club is hosted in English.
Please update your RSVP if you find out you cannot attend. Hope to see you there! 🏳️🌈📚
