Utrecht LGBT+

Utrecht LGBT+ is a Meetup group that aims to connect queer people in Utrecht and help them make friends while having fun and sharing common interests.

● For who enjoy socialising over games and all kinds of fun activities, there are bi-weekly meetups in varied locations around the city.

○ For those who want to hangout and chat over some snacks and drinks, there are meetups at different gezellige cafés in the Utrecht City Centre. When the good weather comes, we'll organize picnics at the park.

● For those who like to party we occasionally organize meetups for nights out going to bars, clubbing, karaoke and dancing.

By joining our Meetup group, you agree to its guidelines (these are subject to updates over time, so it's good to check them once in a while):

♡ All the letters in LGBT+ are lovingly included, so stay respectful of people's pronouns and identities at all times

♡ Minimum age is 18 years old

♡ The official language is English

♡ Any form of disrespect, abuse, manipulation, harassment, bullying, violence and discrimination are not tolerated and can result in banning.

♡ Uploading pictures of this meetup without the people's consent isn't allowed.

♡ The use of drugs that *aren't* alcohol, tobacco, weed and caffeine are forbidden during our events. If you use them during our events you won't be able to continue attending. What you do before or after our events is still your personal freedom. If you have special medication try to take it before or after as well.

♡ Illegal activities during our Meetups will be reported

♡ Straight people are welcome for as long as these two conditions are met:

• They are directly related to and invited by a close friendship or family bond with one of our meetup members

• They are allies and don't question, attack/bully or harass other members, especially the women. The infringement of this condition will result in immediate expulsion.

♡ Spamming with public or private messages about your personal business or sending violent/offensive/triggering content will result in the elimination of such messages.

♡ If for privacy reasons you can't upload a picture of yourself on the Meetup app, please try at least to display your real name. Otherwise we can't know who you are and you can't participate in the event.

♡ Minimum attendance to belong in our Whatsapp chatgroup is 5 times in the span of 5 months. If you come less often than this, you can still belong in our Meetup's member list on the app and come to our events
