Recharge & Play: Gentle Movement for Mind-Body Balance 🌿✨
Details
Burnout prevention and recovery become easier when we reconnect with our bodies. Stickwork is a playful movement practice where we hold wooden sticks and move together with focus and awareness. It’s simple, calming, and helps you shift out of your head and into presence.
On Sunday, January 18th at 2.45 pm, we’ll meet in front of the Wilhelmina Gasthuis Terrein for a gentle stickwork workshop guided by Fruzsi and Rita, founders of Hangar of Voice. We’ll meet in front of the building and go inside together.
✨ What we’ll do:
- Learn the basics of stickwork
- Move together using two connected sticks
- Practice leading and following without physical touch
- Explore balance, focus, and presence
- Connect through simple, playful exercises
✨ This workshop is for you if you want to:
- Find balance
- Improve focus
- Feel more grounded
- Explore connection in a safe, light way
- Connect without physical touch
- Experience carefree play
✨ You may leave with:
- A clearer, calmer mind
- More awareness of your body
- New insights into leading and following
- A joyful sense of play and connection
✨ How to prepare:
- Wear comfortable clothes
- We’ll work barefoot or in socks
- Other than that, just bring yourself and your curiosity
