Oscar Spruit, Android Software Engineer @ Adyen
Navigating through payments

Navigation has always been harder than it should be. Now with Navigation3, that is about to change. In this presentation, Oscar will outline how Navigation3 works and how the Adyen team applied it to their Checkout SDK.

Subhrajyoti Sen, Software Engineer @ Adyen
Understanding Incremental Processing in the JVM World

We've all heard terms like incremental compilation, incremental annotation processing, and binary compatibility validation. While these improve the developer experience, it is also beneficial to understand exactly what happens under the hood.

This talk will explore incremental compilation in Java and its similarities within the Gradle and Kotlin ecosystems. Subhrajyoti will then discuss Kotlin compilation avoidance and how you can assist the compiler in optimizing your build. Finally, since Gradle is critical to our tooling, Subhrajyoti will share how it leverages similar concepts to further accelerate build times.
