Alright grunts, listen up!! So if there is one thing I really can't stand it's getting double crossed by my employer. What we know so far is that the Duke hired us to come here, ostensibly to help him with a pirate problem, only to discover that the "pirates" were a mercenary group the Duke hired to raid his own planet!
From what we can tell it seems that the Duke is making some sort of power play to break away from the Federated Suns by making the First Prince look ineffectual at protecting this and other backwater worlds. Unfortunately for him he hired the wrong group of mercs, us, to be his patsies. Worse, when we didn't fall to his fake pirates, he tried to kill us last night. It's time for payback. Bring the Duke in alive if you can, but he's going down today! Suit up, we head out in five.
