INTERSECTIONS OF CONSCIOUSNESS AND COSMOLOGY
Presented by Kerri Welch, PhD

From the cycling cosmos overhead to the ebb and flow of churning creeks, to sleeps, blinks, breaths, heartbeats, and fleeting thoughts, we exist amidst a vast range of timescales. Our bodies burn at a controlled 98 degrees Fahrenheit, an organized flow of energy, standing still in a moving stream. Here we create time. This lecture will wind a path through the realms of philosophy, modern physics, and neurochemistry, exploring what science can tell us about how time emerges through a consciousness in, and of, the cosmos.

KERRI WELCH, PhD

Dr. Welch earned her PhD in Philosophy and Religion concentrating in Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness from California Institute of Integral Studies, where she currently teaches courses on sacred geometry, modern physics, and the science of temporal perception. She also teaches philosophy for business doctoral students through the University of Phoenix School of Advanced Studies. [More with links at www.inacs.org]
