We're thrilled to invite you to our second meetup fully dedicated to Security and Cybersecurity — a space for experts, enthusiasts, and curious minds to connect, learn, and share knowledge on the most pressing and exciting trends in the industry.
Agenda:
- Ephemeral secrets or ephemeral security? - the choice is yours - delivered by Software Engineering Technical Leader, Piotr Lucinski
Description: The modern auth ways are still not widely implemented means of improving companies security posture - I'd like to educate and promote those. Starting with an overview of the principles of Secrets Management, through the most common issues and spectacular failures, we’ll end up with a live demo of the modern approach of how we can leverage temporary/ephemeral credentials in our automated development processes such as CI/CD.
According to several researches, almost half of breaches in the past years involved leveraging stolen credentials. Let’s change the world and spread the idea of replacing hardcoded credentials, long-lived API keys, and insecurely stored passwords to get rid of those low-hanging fruits for attackers and thus significantly reduce the attack surface.
- AI in cybersecurity: DeepFake, OSINT and Threat Intelligence - delivered by Security Governance & Compliance Specialist, Anna Walkowiak
Description: The presentation examines how artificial intelligence is reshaping cybersecurity across three important domains: open-source intelligence (OSINT), the emerging threat of deepfakes, and data leakage prevention in AI systems.
We will explore how AI-driven OSINT enhances the collection and analysis of vast amounts of publicly available data, enabling more efficient and accurate threat detection and adversary profiling. At the same time, the presentation highlights the psychological and social engineering risks introduced by deepfake technology—highly realistic synthetic media designed to deceive individuals and organizations, potentially causing reputational damage and eroding trust.
Finally, the discussion will focus on the challenges of preventing sensitive data leaks during the development and deployment of AI models, presenting practical controls, security frameworks, and mitigation strategies.
After the talks, stick around for a casual networking session with fellow security professionals.
