Come and see how to get rid of boring old jUnit based code and introduce idiomatic Kotlin with modern tooling.

5:45 PM: [Debate] Junior in tech

The IT industry is developing dynamically and only in Poland, there is a shortage of about 50,000 specialists in various positions. So it is obvious that many juniors are now needed, who will become those so-wanted seniors with time. However, is it easy to get a job in the IT industry early in your career? Why do so many companies not want to hire juniors? As a junior, what can you do to increase your chances, and what should companies do to avoid getting lost in the vicious cycle of employing only experienced employees? Together with experienced representatives of the IT industry from several Tri-City companies, we will talk about the current situation of juniors and how to improve it.

Did you ever end up in a situation in which you wished you could just switch a feature on or off after the release of your application? Did you ever have to postpone a release, because you didn't finish development in time? Feature flags are an answer to those problems and I will show you how to integrate them seamlessly into your Kotlin application.
