Practical Philosophy Club: Childfree

Szczegóły
On Saturday, August 2 the next meeting of the Practical Philosophy Club will again take place at the Kingdom (Biskupia St. 18/1). This time, we the topic is "childfree". The meeting will start at 4:30 p.m., and the discussion will be held in English. Admission, as always, is free.
Why childfree movement is getting so popular these days? Is this a bad or a good trend?
Do we have a moral obligation to reproduce if we believe we would be “good parents”?
Can a life without children be equally or more meaningful than one with children?
Should people be discouraged from having children in certain contexts (e.g. poverty, war, environmental collapse)?
What are the possible consequences of the rising popularity of the childfree lifestyle?
Should governments somehow battle these ideas?

The Kingdom Without Limit is an open enclave at 18 Biskupia Street in Kraków, combining elements of a cultural centre, a café, a museum, a library, a university, a coworking space, your grandmother's house and a place you've probably always missed. The Gate is open Monday to Saturday from 4pm to 11pm.
The Kingdom is independent. As a result, events are diverse, open and free of charge. If you want it to stay that way, you can support the open enclave:
