Lean Startup Wrocław - Meeting #2 - Let's speed up -> Save the date and RSVP!

For our second meeting, let's speed up ;-) In our first meeting we learned that our MVP (Minimum Viable Product) regarding this group proved successful and we lived up to the example of Lean Startup ourselves: 12 group members within a week and 7 participants for your first meeting and lively discussions and helpful exchanges during 2 hours that went by flying. That is an awesome achievement indeed!

So, in order to continue with the Lean Startup process for our group itself and make the group even more successful for everybody involved, during our first meeting we dug deeper, threw a few ideas around and designed the next MVP: We settled on eg two main features for every upcoming meeting:

• Learn, commit and apply Lean Startup -> we will have a brief talk on the methodology as well as the tools of Lean Startup and then a brief talk on implementing Lean Startup in real life (be it in business or private life). As for our second meeting this spot is empty, let's just use the allotted time to brainstorm and decide on what we would like to have covered in the meetings to come over the next months.

• Hot seat -> the courageous one who sits on it will have the unique opportunity to be challenged regarding the business model or any other business aspect that is and to get invaluable feedback by the participants of the group to push the business to the next level. Michal gave it a try in the first meeting and it proved immensely helpful for him. And even those providing feedback or just listening to it gained a lot of insight.

• and of course there will be plenty of time to pitch and network as well ;-)

As this is a group in the making, more of your ideas and friends are welcome, especially those that add value to the group ;-) This brings us to two further points we discussed as well in our first meeting:

• Some participants offered assistance in order to find meeting places downtown close to Rynek in an environment that is just for us instead of in a public space. So, if you know of a company or a co-working space or any other suitable venue you can think of, just let us know. We will be more than happy about being accommodated, even already for this upcoming second meeting ;-)

• And yes, feel free to give a talk on Lean Startup either about your knowledge or your successes in implementing it. Just let me know, this group is all about sharing and implementing anyway.

A few thoughts on what we've learned regarding organizing the meetings from our previous meeting:

• This time we decided to limit the spaces to 15, an increase of 50% due to the huge demand last time. If more places are needed, just let me know. The board is open for posts like this.

• As we have a limited number of spaces those who (forever reason) can't make it to the meeting, please update your RSVP in order to make it possible to join for those on the waiting list (Thank you to Marta who updated her RSVP on her own initiative anyway for the first meeting).

• In order to keep it accessible for the international crowd of Wroclaw as well, please note that the meetings will be held in English.
