Film Discussion: The Rules of the Game (1939)

Szczegóły
For our upcoming film meeting, we will discuss "The Rules of the Game" by Jean Renoir. It is the most famous of all Poetic Realist films and is widely considered one of the greatest movies ever made.
The film has had a tumultuous history: it was subjected to cuts after the violent response of the audience at its 1939 premiere, and the original negative was destroyed during World War II; it wasn’t reconstructed until 1959.
