4th of July Jubilee (Lake Day + Firework Show)

🎆🇺🇸 Join us for an epic full-day adventure at Grand Lake on July 4th – the perfect way to celebrate Independence Day (250 years) with friends in the heart of Colorado's wilderness!
Kick off whenever you want and spend the whole day lakeside at this stunning mountain gem (about 2–3 hours from Denver). We'll soak up the sun, hit the water, and make memories all day long before capping it off with one of Colorado's most breathtaking fireworks shows. A dazzling display launched from a barge over the lake around 10 p.m., with vibrant bursts reflecting on the water against the Rocky Mountain backdrop.

What to Expect:
- Full lake day vibes — swimming, lounging, exploring the shoreline at Lakefront Park or nearby spots.
- Bring your own food and drink — pack a picnic, grill if you like (check any fire restrictions), or grab treats from town shops/boardwalk.
- Water fun & games — Bring yard games, paddle boards, kayaks, football, cards, or whatever gets the group going!

Must-bring items for comfort and fun:
- Sunscreen
- Towel
- Bathing suit
- Change of clothes
- Hat
- 4th of July colors/outfit (red, white, blue spirit!)
- Cooler (for food/drinks)
- Cards (or other portable games)
- Plenty of water
- Tent or portable gazebo for shade (highly recommended – it can get sunny!)
- Sandals/water shoes (for easy lake entry and rocky areas)

Tips for the Day:
- Arrive early (morning/early afternoon) if you want the easiest parking and prime lakeside real estate—free street spots fill up fast on Park Ave, Grand Ave, Mountain Ave, Lake Ave, all a short walk to the lakefront.
- If you want to come late, feel free, just know that parking will be harder to find (spots might be farther out or require more walking), but not impossible as the town is compact and views are great from many areas.
- Carpool to beat the crowds
- The event is free, open to all, and perfect for a laid-back group hang.
