Celebrate Cherry Blossom season and all the Spring blooms on Earth Day! Park on street or fee-based parking lot at 900 Washington Avenue. Four miles morning walk - 20-25 minutes mile. Meet 10 am in parking lot, walk begins at 10:10 am. We will meander along the multicolored trails with great views of the pond, streams and wetland about 12 pm. There is an optional extended walk which will continue until approximately 1:30 pm.

Please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for navigating to the parking lot & parking.
We will be meeting at CSA Farm - overflow parking lot which is past the Chicken Coop at the CSA Farm.
Follow the Service Road (make an immediate left upon entry through the Main Gate) through Arboretum to arrive at the lot. Green “Class Today” signs will guide you down the road. Use caution and drive slow.
Wear sturdy boots that you won’t mind getting muddy & wet
Dress in long layers as protection from ticks, poison ivy, and elements. Click here for the weather forecast.
Bring plenty of water (required) and insect repellent (optional).
Consider bathroom locations as you plan your visit.
Public restrooms are available at the Manor House and Visitor Center before or after the program.
Join Bayard’s education staff on a private guided walking tour for NHOC members of Paradise Island; explore this unique coastal ecosystem and watch for wildlife. Discussion revolves around the diversity of plant and habitat conservation.
