5th Annual Delray Beach Concours LIVE PAINTING day of event

The Delray Concours Foundation has invited Plein Air Palm Beach to paint their amazing cars at the 5th Annual Delray Beach Concours! Paintings of cars done on site during event as well as paintings of cars done ahead of time may be sold during event. Note: as soon as the images of cars are available, they will be made available to those registered by RSVPing for this event. There will be a limit of 20 artists painting on site so please be accurate about RSVPing. There will also be a wait list.

Requirements for participation

• Due to insurance requirements, all artists must register through PAPB and check in the day of the event with Donna. PAPB is providing certificates of insurance for registered artists. Register by RSVP to this meetup.
• All sales must be through PAPB the day of event or afterwards. Absolutely NO SELLING "off the easel" is allowed by City of Delray Beach. Anyone found to be doing this will be excluded from future events like this.
• 20 % donation to Delray Concours for distribution to the selected DBC local charities and 80 % to artist after any fees are deducted.
• Paint between 9am and 3pm, Sunday, April 19th
• There will be eight sections based on classification of cars: Porsche, British, Mercedes, American, Brass era, Pre-War, Ferrari & Italian. Organizers would like to have artists to be spaced throughout the eight sections, so if you have a preference, let me know.
• Please note that this is an event to raise money for Delray Charities. The car owners pay to participate and it is free to the public, You can approach your painting and pricing as you choose but the collectors at this event are looking for small affordable art or sketches. You may want to consider this in your approach.
