Polish Nature Mindfully: Tree Species of Poland

If you would like to learn what tree species grow in Poland and how to distinguish them, this walk is for you! In spring, the young leaves are juicy green colour and are very inviting for inspection: What shape are they? What’s their texture? During the walk we will look at the leaves as well as the bark of the trees and their overall shape. We will learn which coniferous tree can be a christmas tree and why. I will also tell you about types of forests in Poland and where to find them. We will also listen to songs of birds and try to distinguish them. Moose also live in this area so if we're very lucky... ;)

Children 10 yo and older welcome to join!

About me: My name is Dorota Boroszko and I am nature lover, nature photographer, traveller, hiking guide and English and Spanish teacher. I’ve been spending most of my free time in nature since I was a child, observing it, learning about and growing in it. It runs in my family, too. Not only is the forest a place for a deep relaxation for me, it is also a place where I am able to reencounter with my real self, my essence and integrity (after a long day with preschoolers).
