Meeting #41 - Actor Model of Computation

Szczegóły
Apparently, we got tired of discussing databases and architecture alternately, so this time we will discuss, wait for it... architecture! Actor-based architecture to be more accurate.
The article to read before our next meeting is: "Actor Model of Computation: Scalable Robust Information Systems (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0Bykigp0x1j92M0p6b0ZWWE9SS3Frb3loV3NKX2sxdw/edit)" by Carl Hewitt.
In addition to the article above, we strongly recommend reading another one: "What is computation? Actor Model versus Turing's Model (http://what-is-computation.carlhewitt.info/)". There's some degree of overlap between these two, but together they should provide a good base for discussion.
Those of you, who want to go the extra mile, we encourage to watch the video from Lang.NEXT 2012 (http://channel9.msdn.com/Shows/Going+Deep/Hewitt-Meijer-and-Szyperski-The-Actor-Model-everything-you-wanted-to-know-but-were-afraid-to-ask) explaining the actor model.
