¡Bienvenido a nuestro **taller de relato corto** de los martes! No importa si tienes experiencia o si acabas de empezar. Todo lo que necesitas es algo para escribir y ganas de pasar un rato agradable compartiendo tu pasión por la escritura. El moderador plantea una consigna y da entre 20 y 30 minutos con el objetivo de que estructures un relato (poema, reflexión, ensayo...). Después cada participante lee su texto en voz alta y lo comentamos entre todos. Una manera divertida de mantener en forma el «músculo» creativo y de encontrar tu propia voz literaria, mientras aprendemos unos de otros. Taquilla inversa, según satisfacción. Los beneficios son para ayudar al mantenimiento de la asociación.

Si llevas más de dos años tocando la guitarra de manera más o menos continuada, eres capaz de tocar alguna canción, controlas varios acordes y tienes la cejilla “medio” conquistada, este es tu nivel. Vente a pasar un rato divertido mientras aprendes a tocar la guitarra con otras personas aficionadas como tú. La temática de la clase la decidiremos juntos antes de empezar, de esta manera será una clase medio-personalizada. Hace casi 20 años que me dedico a dar clases de manera profesional, y seguro que encontraré la manera de adaptar la infinidad de material que tengo, para que la clase sea interesante para los participantes. El precio de la clase es de 18 euros, y dura 60 minutos, para reservar plaza utilizaremos bizum o transferencia bancaría (adjuntando justificante). La directora viaja a Transilvania (Rumanía) con su madre, que creció allí bajo la dictadura de Ceaușescu y emigró a Alemania en 1989. A través de este recorrido íntimo, visitan espacios significativos como el hogar de la infancia o el escenario de la revolución en Brașov, explorando la identidad, la memoria y el sentido de pertenencia como parte de la minoría alemana en Rumanía. 🎞️ Un documental sensible y reflexivo que nos invita a pensar sobre las raíces, el desarraigo y los vínculos. 🗣️ Versión original en alemán, subtitulada al castellano e inglés. **¿Buscas un espacio para crear, soltarte y conectar contigo mismo sin expectativas?** En este taller de creatividad con barro sensorial utilizamos herramientas interdisciplinarias como movimiento, mindfulness, imágenes, experimentación con materiales, etc., para tener una experiencia creativa encarnada. Nos reunimos 2 horas cada dos semanas. Un espacio para explorar sin juicios y despertar tu expresión más auténtica. Aquí no venimos a enseñarte a hacer piezas perfectas; te acompañamos para que la creatividad salga de tu propio cuerpo. Usamos métodos sencillos pero poco convencionales. El objetivo no es "fabricar" algo bonito, sino experimentar y sentir lo que surja. **¿Cómo funciona?** Cada taller es un módulo independiente con una ruta diferente. A veces nos movemos, otras meditamos, y otras creamos un campo de juego. Además del barro, exploramos pintura, instalación efímera o escritura. Cada persona encuentra su propio camino para conectar con lo que realmente quiere expresar. Creamos un círculo entre tú y tu creación. Tú eres el creador y el observador. Estás creando tu obra, pero al mismo tiempo la obra te está creando a ti. **¿Es para ti?** Si algo de esto te resuena, no necesitas experiencia previa. A casual (but coordinated) coffee break to meet new friends, take a Zoom break, and get your AM caffeine fix. Stop by for a few minutes or stay the whole time. Bring a friend or wander in solo. The topic for June is "Roadtrip" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Based on the novel Roadside Picnic, it is NO picnic, but rather one of the masterpieces of world cinema. Andrei Tarkovsky's 1979 Soviet sci-fi classic, recounts the expedition of a writer and professor led by a mysterious guide called "The Stalker." to a futuristic wasteland called "The Zone." Dripping with existential dread, it continually presents strange occurrences that will have us debating the meaning of what we've just viewed right through the ending. *Stalker* (1979) can be streamed for free on HBOMax, the Criterion Channel or Kanopy. It's also available for rent on Amazon Prime and AppleTV. The Columbus Library has two copies on disc.

Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you were quoted in *Truth in Comedy*, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**! The idea behind improvised comedy is to create entire scenes from scratch. A suggestion is taken from the audience and laughter is built on the spot. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway, Make Some Noise,* or *Wild 'n Out*; it can also be done in a longer way, to tell a complicated story, like *TJ & Dave*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and FREE!) weekly comedy event, brings the games for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Afterward, many members will hang out in *Gresso's* itself and get to know each other. Not only is this a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, your public speaking, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and build relationships that will last a lifetime, and you do that while laughing your butt off!
