This is a social activity and English Speaking Practice Session while going for a slow and leisurely afternoon walk in Retiro Park with a Native Speaking English Teacher. The pace will be very slow to accommodate for talking and walking (2 - 2.5 mph/3 to 4 kph) and the topics are open and there will not be a formal lesson plan or target language. The teacher will make sure that everyone is participating in the conversation but there will be no formal corrections so that everyone can build confidence without being interrupted or fearing being corrected. Any questions the students ask will be answered of course!

Corrections are reserved for private lessons because confidence is key and right now students are encouraged to sign up with Lindsay (La Profa) for an English level test and introductory lesson between now and June 15th (90 minutes for only €20)

We're going to have a nice and informal English Conversation allowing for casual questions, repeating and rephrasing if requested and we will also get some exercise and meet some lovely people and enjoy Retiro Park at the ideal time of day!

All levels of English fluency are welcome and encouraged to attend and this event is FREE of charge.

The walk itself will be about an hour and we will go to get a drink afterwards if people are interested.

El ritmo será muy lento para facilitar la conversación y la caminata (3 a 4 km/h). Los temas son libres y no habrá un plan de lección formal ni un idioma objetivo. La Profesora se asegurará de que todos participen en la conversación, pero no habrá correcciones formales para que todos puedan ganar confianza sin interrupciones ni temor a ser corregid@s. ¡Por supuesto, se responderán todas las preguntas de los estudiantes!

Las correcciones se reservan para las clases particulares porque la confianza es clave y ahora mismo animamos a los alumnos a apuntarse con Lindsay (La Profa) para una prueba de nivel de inglés y una clase introductoria entre ahora y el 15 de junio (90 minutos por solo 20 €).

Tendremos una conversación en inglés agradable e informal que permitirá preguntas casuales, repetir y reformular si se solicita, y también haremos algo de ejercicio, conoceremos gente encantadora y disfrutaremos del Parque del Retiro en el momento ideal del día. Most of the upcoming performance events this Spring and Summer will be donation based entertainment depending on the venue demands to keep them accessible to all. Recommended donation for the 60 to 90 minute class shows will be €5 to €10+ depending on your budget and how much they helped you with your English! A volunteer will "pass the hat" to pay La Profa at the performance but audience members are welcome to pay in coins the same as they would for a street performer, and so they don't feel obligated to pay in bills if they're on a tight budget. La Profa has been a professional comedian and actress for over 20 years and an English Teacher for over 10 years and she is now working independently as a Solo Performer and an English Teacher so it makes perfect sense to combine the professions to deliver a package of Educational Entertainment for Adults with Humor, Style and a Wealth of Information you won't get anywhere else!

There will be a few shows this Spring and Summer so if you have any ideas or feedback or venues you think would be able to host a show of this nature, please talk to Lindsay La Profa or DM this account.
