"Jakub will present an approach to automating the generation of PDF documents in Jira (Data Center) during a practical lecture, using the example of the process of settling employees' entrusted equipment. The presentation will discuss how to integrate Jira with the equipment database in Assets with the com.itextpdf library, which allows for automatic creation of PDF documents. Participants will learn how to generate PDFs using the example of handover protocols containing tables, headers and text formatting, and will also see an example of a complete employee settlement process. The presentation will provide practical tips that will help streamline and automate similar processes in the organization."

During the presentation, you will learn about, among others, which types of scripts are the most dangerous, how to change your approach to designing functionality so as not to succumb to "scriptosis". In turn, when a failure occurs, you will see that you can quickly control it, becoming a full-fledged and fast-acting detective from Scriptrunner. Remembering that prevention is always better than cure, I will also focus on the current diagnostics of scripts and the way they work, wondering on examples whether it is really worth coding every functionality or whether it is better to use other plugins."
