Topic: What is N.I.C.E. Guy Syndrome (NGS)?

I've been reading some interesting books recently.

This time I'd like to discuss "No More Mr. Nice Guy" by Dr. Robert Glover 🤓

It's not that long, but it's the bible for NICE guys. It has helped thousands of men, including myself, break the vicious NICE guy paradigm. Two questions that inspired me to organize this event were:

1. How does NGS affect men's relationships and fulfillment?
2. What steps can help break free from people-pleasing patterns?

I will go through my own journey as a NICE guy, and my relationship with myself and others. I will pick up points from Glover's book, and look at other sources of understanding and inspiration.

Agenda

1. An introduction and essay part by me (30-45 min) inspired by the book, podcasts Glover has appeared on and my own thoughts & experiences.
2. An open discussion and Q&A about this topic. You can ask questions about my essay but also expand the domain with your own thoughts.
