You can take it “easy” on a moderate hike to the park’s highest single-drop waterfall, Rainbow Falls. Then, inch out to a bald rock outcropping on Charlie’s Bunion to get your heart hammered by mountain scenery in every direction. Walk in the foot path of thousands of Appalachian Trail thru hikers that have come before you on two hikes. Your Insta feed won’t know what hit it. Model Context Protocol (MCP) is emerging as a standard way for AI models to securely interact with external tools and systems. This session provides a practical deep dive into MCP architecture, core concepts, and real-world integration patterns. We will explore how MCP enables structured tool calling, improves interoperability, and simplifies AI integration in existing applications. The talk will include examples of connecting AI models with APIs, databases, and enterprise systems, with a focus on how developers can adopt MCP in Java-based environments. **Note**: Due to unexpected family medical needs, our speaker is unable to travel to St. Louis. Trade the daily hustle for mountain magic with the ultimate long weekend hiking in Shenandoah National Park. This is a more laid-back hiking adventure––active without being hardcore. We’ll explore sections of the Appalachian Trail by day, including Mary’s Rock, Whiteoak Canyon, and Hawksbill Mountain. And we’ll savor golden sunset hikes to Bearfence and Stony Man before our evening PJ parties. Our SHE-nanigan Shuttle will be conveniently parked to save us from sweary uphill climbs, whisking us away to our trailheads, an afternoon wine tasting, and our picturesque lodges with local, chef-made meals. Salsa On1 – Level 2 is for dancers who are comfortable with the basics and ready to level up their skills. In this class, you’ll build on your foundation with more dynamic turn patterns, smoother transitions, better timing, and stronger partner connection. We’ll also introduce styling, musicality, and techniques to help you dance more fluidly and confidently. You should already be familiar with basic steps, right turns, and simple partner work. Perfect for those who want to refine their technique, expand their moves, and feel more natural on the dance floor while continuing to have fun and connect with others.

Here is another good band to see with playing a variety of music. If one was at the previous week live music, we may sit in the same generalized area. Bring your Chair and cooler of drinks, then enjoy the evening with great music and friendships.

Salsa On1 Level 1 is the perfect starting point if you’re new to salsa or want to build a strong foundation. In this class, you’ll learn the basics step by step, timing (dancing “on 1”), footwork, partner connection, and simple turn patterns. We focus on helping you feel comfortable with the music while building confidence on the dance floor. No partner or experience needed.
