# REASON - FSM: Hosted by Jim Bechtel A modest topic: The Universe! A 24-minute video from the American Museum of Natural History, "Journey to the Stars" starts out simple enough for a child, but rises to challenge the limits of our imagination. Followed by free-wheeling discussion of whatever's on your mind that day. Differing viewpoints are welcomed in the discussion periods. We expect that discussions can be spirited, bear in mind that this is hosted within a public library. Topics of meetings change each month. Sometimes we will have a speaker and sometimes we watch a video and discuss. Participation is always welcome, but be ready to cite your sources if challenged. As of the last week of March, Influenza A, and to a lesser extent, Influenza B are the most prevalent of tracked respiratory diseases. This part of the state is at around mid-scale for cases and the Northernmost central area registers at the upper end with up to 56 cases per 100K. RSV is next, and that "Three Rivers" area (Blair, Fremont, Wahoo) is right in the thick of it with 30 cases per 100K. Covid-19 cases in the state as a whole were at a lower level than any other year during week 11 since Covid-19 began. Douglas County is still less afflicted than the surrounding counties. Sarpy County is the new "hot spot" for Covid-19, showing up to 10 cases per 100K, the area around Kearney and also around Ponca are similar to Sarpy. ASTROLOGY TODAY with Jane Brubaker
ASTROLOGY TODAY with Jane Brubaker
Hi everyone, I am looking forward to our discussion on April 6th regarding the unique alignment of personal planets—Venus, the Sun, Mars, and Mercury—moving through Aries. With the Moon in Sagittarius in a highly favored position that day, it is a perfect time for us to gather. We will explore the importance of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction at the first degree of Aries and how it affects our personal growth. It is truly remarkable to witness the universe timing these planetary movements to coincide with the start of spring. As the Earth's frequency rises daily, we are experiencing shifts in awareness and consciousness that allow us to rebirth ourselves and rebuild our realities. I've been studying the ascension topics and will enjoy sharing with you my take on these interesting studies. I will Love to hear what others in the group know about ascension ideas. Everyone's input is valuable. I will also emphasize the importance of following the Moon’s schedule through the signs. Tracking these shifts every two and a half days is a vital tool for understanding our emotional nature and the energies transforming within us. Ultimately, navigating this higher-vibe environment requires releasing old lessons and lower ego frequencies to make room for our new selves. Additionally, I will discuss Jupiter in Cancer and Leo and how these placements tie into the Year of the Fire Horse. Attached is The chart for noon on April 6 2026, also a Central time zone chart for tracking the moons position. I look forward to talking with you soon. Best regards, Jane Brubaker Jane Brubaker has lived over 40 years in Lincoln, NE. Originally from Sioux Falls, SD. I enjoy studying esoteric anything, ~ law of attraction, vibrations, hidden histories. I’m an artist, Carpenter, sculptor, innovator, gardener, herbalist, remodeler, Old time commercial Sign Painter, seamstress, craftsperson. I’ve owned my own business off and on for most of my life and learned many trades along the way. My chart explains why the huge variety. I started with the fascination of mythology in my childhood and teens, finding out it's not so mythological. Really started studying astrology when my 2 children were small in the 80s. I study Chinese and Western astrology. (I do not study Vedic astrology because it is very different placements from Western astrology). I visited California for four years, starting in 2015. And was able to spend much time with Astrology Groups and teaching groups so that I could become much more aware of what planetary energy is doing and how to read charts well. In 2019, I returned to Nebraska. and started a Facebook group called ‘Astrology Weather Report’. There I share reports of current activity and the energies coming up, from many other astrologers that I admire. It's private, but anybody's welcome to join. I love to share and teach what I’ve learned along the way. I pay particular attention to The moon cycles. Like which sign it’s currently in. And what’s coming up for the week. I’ve found this very helpful in understanding the emotionally motivating energy grid that everyone is dealing with. Metaphysically I am a huge fan of Joe Dispenza, Greg Braden, Bruce Lipton, Louise Hay and many others. I especially enjoy watching the Citizen Reporters sharing uncovered news. If time permits, the talk will end with a meditation.
