We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun! Also, if you’re looking to meet new practice partners or play some matches and you aren’t already in the PlayYourCourt Community, you can go here to see what we’re all about and sign up: https://www.playyourcourt.com/tennis-community/omaha-ne/meetup/ If you love tennis, we’d love to have you! Be sure and watch the quick video that explains how everything works. Happy hitting! - Scott

Broken Magic Comedy Presents: Deanna Ortiz!
Tickets here https://tinyurl.com/2umx24vj Voted Best Standup in The Chicago Reader’s 3 years in a row, and named one of Time Out’s Comics To Watch in 2025, Deanna Ortiz is the host of the podcast ‘Crushes!’, The Signal Award Winning audio series ‘It’s Crime For Bed’ on Hatch+, and The Drunk Cooking Show on Instagram. She has worked as a contributing writer for NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, and her standup has been featured in Vulture, WGN News, FOX Good Day Chicago, and TimeOut Chicago. Over the years, she has become a fixture in the Chicago comedy scene, performing regularly at The Laugh Factory, Zanies, and the Lincoln Lodge (where she’s been part of the cast since 2016). Her comedic voice blends narrative storytelling, sharp observational humor, and vulnerability. Deanna tackles topics such as dating, daily awkwardness, and self‑doubt in a way that feels like she’s talking with the audience, not at them. Deanna continues performing across Chicago and beyond, headlining shows, collaborating on creative content, and expanding her voice in podcasting and writing.

LilyPalooza! Free Demo - Forest Shuffle
LilyPalooza! Free Demo - Forest Shuffle
Join us for a **free** demo in the LilyPalooza series, hosted by Lily Wang, the last Sunday of each month! Demoed games are 10% off on the day that they are demoed, AFTER the demo is over. Game: Forest Shuffle Duration: 40-60 minute playthroughs Players: 2-5 Description: In ***Forest Shuffle***, players compete to gather the most valuable trees, then attract species to these trees, thus creating an ecologically balanced habitat for flora and fauna. To start, each player has six cards in hand, with cards depicting either a particular type of tree or two forest dwellers (animal, plant, mushroom, etc.), with these latter cards being divided in half, whether vertically or horizontally, with one dweller in each card half. On a turn, either draw two cards — whether face down from the deck or face up from the clearing — and add them to your hand, or play a card from your hand by paying the cost, then putting it into play. During set-up, three winter cards were placed into the bottom third of the deck. When the third winter card is drawn, the game ends immediately, then players tally their points based on the trees and dwellers in their forest. Whoever scores the most points wins. *—description from [boardgamegeek.com](http://boardgamegeek.com/)*
