How does creating and making meaning in the workplace influence motivation, performance, and resilience?
When people lack meaning at work there can be a lack of motivation, personal performance, and increased staff turnover as illustrated by the “great resignation.” Furthermore, when learning events and meetings do not result in deeper meaning and understanding of core concepts, opportunities for increased collaboration and innovation can be missed. In a sense are we drowning in data and frantic deadlines while we thirst for meaning and connection? In an increasingly complex world, how can we create conditions where people have the space for making meaning and tapping into their inner streams of motivation and work-related satisfaction?
Join us for the free monthly knowledge cafe where we'll follow the Gurteen Knowledge Cafe approach. Tim Andrews and Marcus Conyers, PhD will offer their experiences for the first 15 minutes, then we'll convene three rounds of small group discussion. We'll close with a full group discussion.
The event is virtual and will be hosted through zoom, please register to receive the link.
