I am reactivating this group to hopefully accelerate our learning of python, computational theory, and AI. I am reorganizing the ground around four core activities:
_ bi-monthly pair/mob programming
_ copilot/GPT generated code reviews
_ live, remote group tutoring sessions.
_ math requirements tutoring

weekly pair/mob programming
Every other Saturday morning at 10AM, we will get together in our gather.town space and work on our projects. You are encouraged to meet, discuss, ask for help, and mingle.
We are open to other days/times so if this doesn’t work for you - please suggest an alternative.

We all know that ai is the new (and old) hot thing. Once a month, we will engage in a project that leverages the ChatCPT API or CoPilot to take on a project suggested by the group.

Tutoring speeds learning.
Every Wednesday at 6PM, we will get together in our gather.town space and cover the next session of a python-based AI or ML course.
As our name suggests, the culmination of each course or section will be a hackathon chosen by the group.
The tutor will be a professional tutor with deep expertise in the subject matter. I will be posting their background before the start of each course so you can decide if they are a fit for you.

math requirements tutoring
AI, ML, and computer science require math – and let’s face it, most of us could use a brush up.
Every Wednesday at 7:30PM, after the python tutoring sessions, we will come together in our gather.town space to cover the next session of a math course (e.g., linear algebra, multivariate calc, etc.).
We will likely use the same professional tutor from the A.I. course so we can keep both sessions in sync.
