An old Chinese proverb says that "A single conversation across the table with a wise person is worth a month's study of books" and it's just as relevant to modern life. We live in a city where too often we spend days sitting alone in uninspired silence at a flickering screen, before retiring to our houses to do the same. However, there are millions of people in Sao Paulo; people of all ages from all walks of life and from all over the world, who have fascinating stories to tell and from whom we could learn a great deal. MOVE UP LANGUAGE CLUB aims to give us a chance to meet up for some interesting conversations with people we have never met, to enrich our lives and help us learn more about how the world works.
