Join us for a one mile hike through the heart of Harnett County as we explore hardwood forests, the banks of the Cape Fear River and the park's namesake rock formation as we chat about flora and fauna, geographical history, local history and more.
This event is free and open to the public and suitable for nature enthusiasts of all ages!
Participants are encouraged to bring reusable water bottles and dress for the weather. There are some areas of deep sand and uneven terrain along the trail. There is a steep flight of stairs at the end of the hike. Closed toe shoes are recommended.
Leashed, well-mannered dogs are welcome.
Registration is limited to 10 participants.
