Meet Travelers in Rome- Social Breakfast+ Walk hosted by locals
## Whatsapp group https://chat.whatsapp.com/EcNvCIJkBYX44Q18qYie01?mode=gi_t Ever wished you could explore Rome while actually meeting people, not just walking past them? This is a **social breakfast and walk hosted by a local**, created for travelers, expats, and anyone curious about experiencing Rome in a relaxed, human way. We meet over breakfast, get to know each other, then wander through the city together, letting conversation and curiosity guide the walk. This is **not a guided tour** and there’s no fixed route. Think of it as exploring Rome with new friends rather than following an itinerary. ### What we'll do * Meet for an Italian breakfast and casual introductions * Take an easy social walk through central Rome ( Piazza del Popolo- Spagna- Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Pantheon and Castel Sant'Angelo) * Pause at a few spots to chat, take photos, and mingle * End near the Vatican City, with the option to continue to lunch together ### What’s included * Breakfast of your choice (drink + pastry) * A small traditional snack during the walk * A relaxed, small-group experience * Hosted in English by a local, with everyone free to speak any language ### Optional tip At the end of the walk, there will be an **optional tip or donation** for the host. This is never expected, but always appreciated if you enjoyed the experience and helps us cover the cost of organizing these walks. ### Important: how to join FREE TO JOIN Once registered, you’ll save your spot and also you can join our Whatsapp group linked above If you enjoy slow walks, good conversation, and meeting people from around the world, this event is for you

Weekend Picnic [@Acquedotti]
Weekend Picnic [@Acquedotti]
[italiano sotto] Let’s switch up the scenery! After a long work week staring at our screens, it’s time to get some fresh air, log off, and soak up the Roman spring sun (I looked at the weather - it should be sunny!) ☀️ Join us on Saturday, April 18th for a relaxed outdoor picnic at Parco degli Acquedotti! This is the perfect chance to chill out, enjoy the beautiful aqueduct views, and connect with other digital nomads, remote workers, and locals in a completely different setting. **🥖 How it works (Potluck Style!):** To keep things simple and communal, we are doing this potluck style! We ask that everyone brings something to eat or drink to share with the group so we can create a massive feast. * **Drinks:** Grab a bottle of wine, some cold beers, or juice. * **Food:** Bring some easy-to-share snacks like chips, pizza al taglio, focaccia, cheese, or fruit. * **Essentials:** If you have a picnic blanket or a portable speaker, definitely bring it along! **📍 The Details:** * **Where:** Parco degli Acquedotti * **When:** Saturday, April 18th * **Time:** From 3:00 PM (15:00) onwards **Finding us:** Parks can be big! I will share a live location pin in our [WhatsApp community](https://chat.whatsapp.com/EJlhZNnJCUADruVOIeb4Vp?mode=gi_t) chat on Saturday afternoon so you can easily find exactly where we are sitting. Feel free to bring a friend, but please make sure everyone hits **RSVP** so we know how big of a spot to claim in the grass! See you in the park! 🍷🌿 Cambiamo aria!

Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
[The Board Walks](http://www.theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations. If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!). **HOW IT WORKS** **Step 1: Bring a topic** Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event. **Step 2: Circle up & share** We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds. **Step 3: Walk, talk & float** We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!" **Step 4: Feel more alive** Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times. *For more details, read our [Orientation Guide.](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)* **HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC** A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about. Recent topics include: * "What are you passionate about right now?" * "What makes a good friend?" * "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?" * "How do you want to be remembered?" * "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?" Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter. **WHAT TO EXPECT** This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.* But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here. **FAQ** * Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk! * We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space. * We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space. * Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know. * Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic! **LOGISTICS** * If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event. * This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs. * Read our [Orientation Guide](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation) for full details. * If you enjoy the event, send **[this](http://www.theboardwalks.com/)** to a friend or sign up for our **[newsletter](https://theboardwalks.beehiiv.com/)**. We're in multiple cities with more on the way. 🤠👋 **IF YOU WANT TO GO DEEPER...** [The Board](https://stan.store/ellebeecher/p/the-board) is the next step: a high-trust collective for renaissance people devoted to creating, connecting, and building lives that light us up. * This is a global HQ for people who crave big talk, deep connection, and dream collaborations with people across industries. If the walks feel like a spark... The Board is the fire. Apply [here](https://stan.store/ellebeecher/p/the-board).

The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter. This is the follow-up. Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered — and honestly explore what’s actually happening now. Together, we’ll explore: • What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in • What’s surprised you, supported you, or shifted • What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote — your word, your artifact, your intention. We’ll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. You’ll start where we all started: with what’s true right now. Optional art materials will be available for anyone who wants to reflect creatively alongside conversation. If you brought something home from January, you’re warmly invited to bring it back. The intention is the same as always: everyone leaves feeling more clear, more connected, and a little lighter. Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate. What to Expect • A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup) • Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak • Reflection, listening, and lived experience — not advice-giving • Optional creative reflection alongside conversation • A calm, supportive environment Who This Is For Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change — especially those looking for honest conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords. Good to Know • No preparation required • If you attended in January, we invite you to bring anything you created or wrote (or something that represents your intention at the start of the year) - it’s optional but invited • Participation is invitational; listening is always welcome • Creative activities are optional
