We'll meet at 10 am at "Nah am Wasser" around the biggest table in the corner – pass by the bar and turn left. We will do two sessions of 45 minutes of writing and two breaks. This is a board game night for you to meet up and play in a relaxed and respectful environment. The event is exclusively for people who identify as FLINTA\* (women, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender). Sprachenatelier in Berlin has a great variety of language courses available. There are flexible and effective German courses, online as well as in person. Areas such as conversation, grammar, vocabulary, listening and writing are taught in equal measure with qualified, experienced and dedicated German teachers. We offer intensive courses, part-time courses and also private lessons. If you do not have time during the day but you would still like to learn German, for example through enhancing your German language skills, then our evening courses are perfect for you. It is possible to learn online or in person. Come along for an evening of board games, good conversations, and great company with like-minded people! We’re meeting at **RuDi Nachbarschaftshaus**, a colorful and inclusive neighborhood community space. We provide games – all you need to bring is yourself. The Language Café is primarily aimed at people who are struggling with their mental health which can make it hard to go to regular courses. We want to create a safe space for everyone to learn and practise without pressure. Everyone is welcome! Please try to be on time so we can all get started together :) We mainly practise on a beginner/lower intermediate level and adapt to everyone's prior level of German. The Language Café will focus on teaching you the most important words and phrases and basic grammar in German. The content of the course is adapted to real life. (everyday life in Germany, dealing with authorities, etc.) We will cover different topics every week and you can join us anytime, since the topics do not necessarily build on each other. Back in August, we explored how Design Thinking can help us uncover and validate the right problems. But even when we agree on what to build, things often go wrong, not because of bad solutions, but because we don’t fully understand what the problem actually means in practice. In this session, we’ll build on that idea and focus on the next step: turning vague ideas into something concrete, shared, and testable. Using Example Mapping - a lightweight technique from Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) - we’ll work in small groups to: * Break down a feature into rules, examples, and questions * Surface hidden assumptions and edge cases * Align on what the behaviour of a system should actually look like If the previous session was about finding the right problem, this one is about understanding it well enough to build it right. **The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception** Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably “yes”, but we’re not sure how to implement or test this theory. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy. She’ll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. In the last 12 years Condado has gone from one location in Columbus to 52 locations across 10 states, so we’re guessing there’s more to that growth than really good guac (though the guac probably helps).
