Let's meet at Kantin, home of the Twisted Cat brewery, for a brewery tour and tasting! Whether you know loads about beer or are brand new to it, this will be a great way for you to see the brewing process up close, get to know a wide range of beer flavors, and make new friends in the process :) We'll get started at 16:00. For your 35€ entry fee you will get: * a tour of the Twisted Cat brewery * 6-8 tastes of various beers from their range * finger food/nibbles (please let me know if you have any allergies!) * in-depth description of all beers, the brand, brewing process, etc. We should wrap up around 18:00, and whoever wants to stay for dinner and/or more beer is more than welcome :) Parking at Kantin is easy on-site, and public transport is just a short walk away. Welcome to our weekly physical or virtual Club Polyglotte meeting. * As usual, a minimum consumption of one drink or something small to eat is obligatory at Restaurant Quai Steffen at 13, Place de la gare at the Luxembourg railway station. * We start our get together at 19:00 h and finish at 22:00 h. **A Journey Through Chinese Costumes and Tea Culture** This event invites participants to explore the rich history and philosophy of tea through an immersive experience. The programme includes a tea ceremony presentation, hands-on brewing experience, and a guided tasting of three premium teas, accompanied by traditional tea snacks for a complete cultural experience. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change.
