A first for this group - a food and premium cyder matching dinner! This is a collaboration between The Newt, a boutique hotel in Somerset, and The Holland W8 where we have had many previous fabulous wine dinners. The food at The Holland cooked by head chef Max de Nahlik is always at a very high standard. The Newt's cyders are made from 100% apple juice, slowly cold-fermented in the cellar for months, sometimes years, for a fresh, aromatic expression exuding the full flavour of the fruit, even the weather of the growing season. Wine Not? is a women-only gathering before the Balancers Saturday social. Most attendees come solo, so it’s an easy and welcoming place to meet people and settle in before the night gets busier. Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games! The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. Mead is basically wine that is made from honey instead of grapes. There are many different flavors that range from dry, semi-dry, semi-sweet, to sweet. They are best known for their Apple Pie Mead. Oron has offered us a special price of 5.00 each person for the tour and tasting, which is normally 25.00 per person. I've taken the tour several times, and it's always enlightening and fun.
