GeoBeers - AAG

The American Association of Geographers (AAG) 2026 Annual Meeting is being held in San Francisco, and we are kicking off this year's GeoBeers series to coincide with it!

We will meet at Fieldwork's China Basin Park Taproom, across the cove from Oracle Park. Fieldwork offers a solid lineup of beers and
non-alcoholic beverages with award-winning NA beers, Supertonic mocktails, sparkling Hop Water, and house-made craft soda.

So come join us for a wonderful evening along the Bay!

What is GeoBeers?
GeoBeers is BayGeo's recurring meetup, which provides a space for socializing, networking, and learning for the Bay Area's geospatial community. Enjoy a drink or two with people who are as into maps & geospatial technology as you are!

As a Bay Area-centered community, we want to give members equal opportunities for members around The Bay to join BayGeo events. GeoBeers rotates between San Francisco and Oakland monthly, with GeoBeers San Jose being held quarterly.

Additional GeoBeers will be hosted in various cities around the Bay, depending on availability and member requests. So be sure to let us know if there's a great spot near you for a bonus GeoBeers!
