Online Monthly Uke Meetup - MLKeeping the Faith

On Sunday we will meet via zoom to check in with fellow ukulele players in the community and play some songs. In honor of Dr. King's birthday, this month we will be featuring songs of faith and hope.

I will screen share the music for My Sweet Lord (George Harrison), My Church (Maren Morris), Hallelujah (Leonard Cohen), Morning Has Broken (Cat Stevens), I Shall Be Released (Bob Dylan), and Spirit in the Sky (Norman Greenbaum) and the music is posted in photos if you want to look at it ahead of time.

From the yellow Daily Ukulele book by Liz & Jim Beloff we will play Amazing Grace p.21, I'll Fly Away p. 124, I Saw the Light p. 132, Wayfaring Stranger p.255, We Shall Overcome p. 257 Will the Circle be Unbroken p.270

Anyone is welcome to lead a song - please be prepared to screen share the music if it is not in the Yellow Book.
