Learn how to be safe while using the laser cutter! We have a 150W, CO2 laser cutter with a 3 x 4 ft bed. This training is required to use the laser cutter because we don't want people setting our most expensive equipment donation on fire. You have to do this training even if you were trained at the old space, as we have different safety features now.

Each participant will cut a piece of cardboard on the laser cutter while following all the safety steps.

This is also a good place to ask questions about specific materials or projects. There is a 5$ fee to register, and we suggest a 20-30$ donation for this class: https://donate.noisebridge.net. If the registration fee is a barrier to your participation, please reach out to the event organisers.

Ready to build a robot that calls you out for skipping your brushing routine? In this hands-on class, you'll use an Arduino, a servo motor, and your imagination to create a smart, sassy toothbrush that moves, grooves, and keeps you honest. Whether you're brand new to coding or already a tinkerer, we’ll guide you step-by-step as you wire up your brush and bring it to life with code. You’ll even build a simple website to track brushing stats, send reminders, or just flex on your friends.

This is where hygiene meets hacking. You'll learn the basics of circuits, servos, and sensors while creating something hilariously useful (or just hilarious). By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with your very own "never-skip-again" brushing bot—and the skills to keep inventing beyond the bathroom. No excuses. No cavities. Let’s code.

Round Table Projects, 1st Week of the Month:
This event is geared towards folks who have a technology/transit project in mind/in progress and are looking for a working group of folks with different backgrounds to build with :) ! Come contribute skills, dreams and ideas to help build out sustainable transit in the city!

Community Project, 3rd Week of the Month:
We take on a community project that one group is working on and needs more hands! These are great times for anyone to show up to help do hands on work!
