1. During the initial 20 min.: grab your cup of coffee, and take this opportunity to state your intention for the hour, or practice refining your log line into 1-2 sentences in a mutually supportive space.

2. Writing in silence for a good solid hour in a group is a powerful way to intensify focus and jump-start momentum, so that after the call, you are on a roll.

3. After the hour, we talk process: if you spend a moment clarifying what works and hearing how other writers organize, think about and implement, it's validating. You could learn something. You might even learn what improves learning for you personally as we are all different. They say the best students know their own best learning practices.

Because they don't understand what you're trying to do. Talking to writers about writing, on the other hand, is immensely helpful, because you get informed feedback about what works for other writers. No agenda, just consensus.

Join us for a period of focused writing from the comfort of your own home. All writers and all experience levels are welcome, and don’t worry; no one will see what you've written. This session is about getting your writing done.

What to Expect
We’ll spend the first 5 minutes settling in as people arrive, and then I will lead quick introductions. Then it's time for our quiet & focused period of writing. After the timer goes off, we’ll finish with a quick check-in to see how everyone's writing went. Then, stick around and chat for a bit, or feel free to head out.
