Re: [php-49] Re: May Meetup - 5/9/2013

My solution to the Roman Numeral 'code golf' challenge was exactly the size of a Tweet so I decided to go ahead and tweet it:

One of the things I did for mine was, while at the meetup, create a code minifier to get rid of whitespace and comments. This way I could have one file that was semi-readable. It only removed about 28 characters of new lines and spaces.

The other solution came in at 141 characters.

We didn't really collect them, so I'll have to leave it up to those that worked on the challenges to share if they want. I'm hoping to get a pull request for the unit test challenge.

Hey Everyone!

This month we are going to have some fun at the meetup and do some coding challenges. We will work together in groups of 2 or 3, so make sure to bring your laptops if you can. We'll have a few challenges (of varying difficulties and ) to choose from, some prizes, and some treats. So come and hangout with your PHP pals and do some hacking.

We have some coding challenges prepared related to:
- Unit Testing
- Code Golf
- And more

Be there tomorrow, Thursday, May 9th at SURF Incubator!
