# Hiking: Dover to White Cliffs – Sat 10 Jan 2026

This hike is among the most scenic coastal trails in England, guiding you along the iconic White Cliffs of Dover. When the weather is clear, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the English Channel, with ferries gliding in and out of Dover Harbour, and the French coastline stretching from Boulogne to Dunkerque. There are just two notable ascents.

## MEETING POINT

We'll meet at London Victoria Station at 08:30 am and leave the meeting point at 08:40am.
Planned arrival time back into London around 8:00pm (we have a group train ticket, and you are committed for the day until then).

This walk is covered by our Club's insurance. Our Club is registered on The British Mountaineering Council (BMC)

### FOOD

We will stop during the hike for a snack lunch, so please bring food and drink. We will visit a pub after the hike where we can get refreshments. Also, swimsuit, towel, solar protection, sunglasses!!

### Day 1 – Thu 18 Jun 2026

Arrive Ljubljana → transfer to Mojstrana

• Suggested flight: EasyJet, London 07:10 → Ljubljana 10:25.
• Transfer: 1h 30m drive with scenic views.
• Check-in & orientation: drop bags, quick briefing.
• Peričnik Waterfall hike: guided walk to one of the Julian Alps’ icons.

### Day 2 – Fri 19 Jun 2026

Mojstrana → Bled & Vintgar Gorge

• Morning transfer: about 1h 30m to Bled.
• Check-in: settle in, then head out.
• Vintgar Gorge: boardwalks, waterfalls, and scenic views.
• Free evening: explore, visit Bled Castle, or paddle on the lake.

### Day 3 – Sat 20 Jun 2026

Bohinj morning → transfer to Ljubljana & Ljubljana by night

• Bohinj morning: visit Savica Waterfall and Lake Bohinj.
• Afternoon transfer: 45m drive to Ljubljana.
• Evening in Ljubljana: Old Town, Dragon Bridge, riverside bars.

### Day 4 – Sun 21 Jun 2026

Free morning in Ljubljana & fly home

• Morning: visit riverside markets, shop, or relax with coffee views.
• Free time: last-minute shopping, Tivoli Park stroll, or visit Ljubljana Castle.
• Homeward flight: EasyJet 21:20 → London 22:45.
