Giant Dragon, Wat Lanna, Cherry Blossom flower in Nakorn Pathom

This time we're going on a day trip to Nakorn Pathom, one of Bangkok's neighbouring provinces.

We're visiting the obscure

• Samphran temple which features a 17-storey tall pink cylindrical building with gigantic dragon sculpture curling around.
• Admire cherry blossom at Kaset sart university kampeangsan campus. They will be blooming from mid of February until March.
• Wat pa pathomchai, the temple in Lanna style located the center of Nakorn Prathom. The ubosot was built by teak which inspired by Lumpang temple.
  Lastly we will have coffee at after the rain
  The ticket for this day trip will be 900 THB which is included guide, vip van and entrance fee at dragon temple. We will have lunch at a restaurant overlooking Tha cheen river which provides great food (or veggie dishes if you like) at even better prices. The lunch and drinks are not included in the ticket price. Any personal shopping at the floating market is naturally not included either.

We meet at 8.00 and should be finished around 17.30. Please make an effort to be on time, so the others in the group do not need to wait. If you live in central Bangkok, leave home about an hour before. If you live elsewhere, you should probably leave earlier (unless you know your way around).

We kindly ask again to only RSVP Yes if you can make it. STRICTLY no changing your RSVP after the closing off time , as nobody will be able to take your place anymore. If you are not sure, do not RSVP, and simply request a rerun of this tour (or keep your fingers crossed there is a spot left just before deadline).
