David Wilson | Microsoft Mesh Animation Lead
As an animator for Microsoft Mesh, David creates avatar animation that helps people engage personally, amplifies their own creative voices and foster community.
He has worked across entertainment industries for over almost 15 years- including interactive games, film, television, and shorts. His projects includes work for Microsoft, Disney, Magic Leap, Hasbro, Netflix, Matel, EA, and Moonbot.
In his work he’s been a superhero, a piece of paper, a grandmother, a twitterpated bottle of chocolate, space explorer, track star and he’s currently pretending to be an avatar, rockstar and soldier. He also mentors students and industry professionals through university outreach, Rise Up Animation, GDC, CTN-X and the Animation Diversity Foundation.
