Bringing the Sock Mob Back to Life

13-14 years ago and so I know what an amazing social enterprise it was.

Please try to join the meeting on time. I only have the free version of Zoom which meens meetings can only be about 40 minutes long. If we need more time I will post and email another meeting link.

The aim of the meeting is to discuss the future of the Sock Mob (which does not appear to have been active since 2022) and for people to have the opportunity to volunteer for roles, including leadership roles.

I had a small involvement with the Sock Mob and the Unseen Tours 13-14 years ago so I know what an amazing and unique social enterprise it was.

However I have neither the time, experience, skills or social intelligence to run this group. All I did was get an email from Meetup saying the group was about to be taken down and so I became organiser and paid to keep it going for a couple more months in the hope that other people would step forward. Once there are people capable and willing to take over, I will gladly resign as organiser.
