A dark reimagining of the Brothers Grimm's "The Goose Girl," rife with secrets, murder, and forbidden magic.

Cordelia knows her mother is . . . unusual. Their house doesn’t have any doors between rooms—there are no secrets in this house—and her mother doesn't allow Cordelia to have a single friend. Unless you count Falada, her mother's beautiful white horse. The only time Cordelia feels truly free is on her daily rides with him.

But more than simple eccentricity sets her mother apart. Other mothers don’t force their daughters to be silent and motionless for hours, sometimes days, on end. Other mothers aren’t evil sorcerers.

When her mother unexpectedly moves them into the manor home of a wealthy older Squire and his kind but keen-eyed sister, Hester, Cordelia knows this welcoming pair are to be her mother's next victims. But Cordelia feels at home for the very first time among these people, and as her mother's plans darken, she must decide how to face the woman who raised her to save the people who have become like family.

Join this 5.5e (2024) Dungeons & Dragons tutorial focused on core mechanics and character sheet basics. We’ll walk through how everything works, then jump into a mini adventure to put your new knowledge into practice.

• Pre-generated characters will be provided.
• Please bring paper and a pen/pencil.
• Dice and the Player’s Handbook are optional.

Until April 11, priority RSVP is reserved for attendees who have previously attended any of Steph’s tutorial events (Intro to TTRPGs, Character Creation, or Learn to Play).

Weather Warning: If it is raining a couple hours before the event, we will reschedule. If it rains during the event, we will move inside Panera.

We are hosting our bi-annual One-Shot Fundraiser! Our fundraisers support our annual Meetup fee and other necessities needed to keep this amazing community going.

All tables will be running Dungeons and Dragons 2024 5.5 Edition adventures using pre-generated characters. Everyone is guaranteed a table with no more than 6 players. Table sign ups will be at the door. Please note the table descriptions below.

We will provide light snacks and a 1 hour break in the middle; please arrange your own lunch as necessary.

Table 1 (GM Cody): Azriel’s Grand Opening (Homebrew)
Adventure Level: 3
Suggested Player Experience: Any; New Players Welcome
Adventure Hook: Coin is flowing, crime is rising, and a man named Azriel is at the center of it all. Claiming ties to the divine and gathering a small army, he’s setting the stage for something big. It’s up to the heroes to break his operation, protect the city and stop the flood of chaos.

Table 2 (GM Steve): War Tortle Brewery (Module)

Adventure Hook: The War Tortle Brewery has been providing spirits & ales to the region for 100+ years. Recently, the brewery has been refitted to allow the brewing of the brand-new Shellback Stout. An enchanted gem was added with various spells to improve production. Unfortunately the gem went haywire and now the brewery is in full blown meltdown. Machinery has animated, geysers of ale are shooting out from the building, and those who indulge in the new recipe are overcome by a strange “possession”. The owner Audrain is in search of adventurers brave enough to venture inside the brewery and dispel the runaway magic.

Adventure Hook: The Spring Fête has begun, and the village opens its gates to all who wish to share in its music, contests, and traditions beneath the blooming maypole. You arrive just in time to be swept into the celebration...
